In the midst of a fierce battle at Azuchi Castle during Japan's Sengoku period, a young samurai named ZAN suddenly hears the mysterious voice of a girl coming out of nowhere. This new world is controlled by a ruler named RIKKA, who maintains order using a symbolic entity of life known as the "Trope." Trapped in the middle of a conflict and forced to face brutal battles against powerful enemies and Trope creatures, ZAN begins to question the meaning of the "justice" that had always been fought for.
